A Vue to a Kill…Get It?
That’s ok, it’s not the smartest play on words – though it can pretty much sum up Buick’s idea to marry soon-to-be-deceased Saturn with the remaining Buick brand. They’ve dropped an idea to combine Saturn’s Vue into “Vue-ick” – a mid sized SUV or crossover vehicle next year. That whole Opel-Saturn-Buick thing just won’t make it into GM’s Remaining 4 Core Brand Line-up, apparently.
Not only does this decision to cut future Vuick planning show how companies are FINALLY listening to customer needs, but how social media plays a large part in this. An immense outcry against Vuick came in the form of Twitter messages and FaceBook status updates. Now the only problem is Buick stuck back at the starting line when it comes to refreshing their line up. Remember, they promised 4 completely redesigned models over the next two years. Good luck…
