Spy Shot of the 2011 Buick Regal
The folks over at Car and Driver have spied some shots of the 2011 Buick Regal testing in the desert. The car, so far a Chinese-market-only vehicle, is covered in the usual GM zebra camo, looping around a test track and showing off that winning smile, aka the grill. Think we will ever see the Regal back stateside? Probably not.

According to Car and Driver’s blog – “Buick is on the rebound in its home market, with the successful Enclave crossover and the appealing 2010 LaCrosse leading the charge. Could it continue with the reincarnation of the Regal? Spied on American soil was a camouflaged Chinese-market Buick Regal, itself a re-grilled and rebadged European 2010 Opel Insignia.”

It was supposed to be the new Saturn Aura…Saturn gets cancelled…make it a Buick! No thanks!

I’ll take an updated Buick over ANY Japanese car today; if today cheated and skimped on safety and service, what have all the other Japanese car makers done?! Buick is leading the world in smartening up.
